Michal Burák: Quality of the environment and quality of life closely associated

Michal Burák belongs among those architects who undertake both the designing of buildings and also land-use planning. He considers working in both spheres as mutually beneficial; it allows him to look at a building in its wider context and, with reference to land-use planning, to think on the real scale or detail of the proposed spaces in which people will actually live. But it seems that even these two areas are not enough for him. He is also involved in fairs, in the creation of book publications about architecture and urbanism and even in the development and operation of an information portal on land-use planning whose main motivation is encouraging public participation in the process of territorial decision-making.
