IBC Banská Bystrica

The integrated security center in Banská Bystrica brings together rescuers, firefighters and police in one area, making the coordination of interventions across the region more efficient. The design is built on the site of a former military unit and transforms the closed area into a clearly legible complex with a central atrium and a new layer of greenery. The architecture works with a restrained expression that corresponds to the importance of the function and at the same time responds sensitively to its urban surroundings.

Central point

The reconstruction of the former telecommunications center in Humenné brought to the city center a new multifunctional building, Central Point, with above-standard housing, commercial operations and a community green roof. The project, which we designed for NEXT Investments, shows the potential of older buildings with high-quality construction and a good location. The preserved reinforced concrete skeleton is complemented by contemporary architecture, thoughtful layouts of 53 apartments and an active parterre, which bring life and new value back to this part of the city.

Kosmalt

Kosmalt is an iconic hostel on Košice's Terasa, which was established in the 1960s as the largest workers' hostel of the local VSŽ ironworks. Its thirteen-story mass is still defined by a distinctive facade with a geometric grid of prefabricated concrete modules and the signature of architects Ladislav Greč and Róbert Kandrík. In 2023–2025, the building underwent a comprehensive and sustainable renovation under our leadership, during which we sensitively uncovered the original materials: marble, terrazzo, travertine, concrete and steel and supplemented them with new layers. The old and the new remain clearly legible here, but in an architecturally balanced dialogue.

DOMM in INTRO HOUSES magazine

DOMM is a minimalist house for a family of three. It is one mass with one window to the street. In the complex shape of the context, it appears puristically simple and works mainly with contrast. It does not close itself off from its surroundings, but rather communicates with the street. The aforementioned window is not afraid to draw the bustle of the city into the interior. The window here functions as a communication platform.
