Rest zone and information center of the Pieniny National Park

Water, mountains, culture – Dunajec, Three Crowns, Červený Kláštor.
These are the three phenomena of Pieniny.
To touch each of them is the goal of the proposal for the Visitor Center.
The object begins with a cultural stop in an imaginary monastery,
reinterpreted into the current language.
It continues with a footbridge touching the edge of the Dunajec and in the middle of it encourages
climb to the top of the tower and enjoy the view of the Three Crowns and the surrounding area.
The concept of the building is built on a square floor plan with an atrium in the middle
which refers to a monastic disposition. Red wooden pine floor
then he specifically refers to the Red Monastery.
The design principle is based on an all-wood frame with a distinctive,
triangular division linked to the division of the glass facade and is
a contemporary reference to the clapboard construction from the Gothic and Baroque times.
