Relatively fundamental reconstruction of an unsuitable administrative building for the Center for Quantum Information Technologies. We kept only the supporting skeleton of the original building and cleaned it „down to the bone“. We simplified the complexity of shape and layout, unified the height and connected it to the surroundings. The missing entrance was completed directly from the street, creating space for a small square with overgrown greenery. The dominant element is the protruding, light slatted facade with a deep cut-out, which creates imaginative effects – the unequivocal determination of where the building with an internal closed space begins is lost, where it is only the impression of an internal space, instead of which only upon closer perception we discover that it is a a roof terrace or an internal atrium.
